Part 1: General Photo Illustrations

You can't satirize modern media without visual elements to help tell your story.
Sometimes a photo illustration compliments a joke.
Sometimes the photo is the joke.
Over the years, I've found various ways to manipulate photos (that I've taken myself or pilfered from the internet) to help paint the Post's parallel universe.
I created most illustrations and other Post visual elements in Macromedia (now Adobe) Fireworks.

some stories, like this one, wouldn't have been worth writing if I couldn't have created the visual joke to go with the headline.
