mission statement
why it’s not funny

Church is an uptight British journalist who was roommates at Oxford with Philip Waters, who writes for Washington Pulse magazine (a JMG subsidiary).
Church scorned Waters for going to America to work for a corporate news outlet.
Church himself went to work for Britania Global magazine, which was bought out by the Jones Media Group shortly there after.
Rather than maintain dozens of costly bureaus in Europe and the Middle East, JMG often finds it cheaper to send Church- reguardless of his knowledge of local language or customs.
Oh- and he sometimes writes under the penname Embedded Infidel when he's afraid the report could get him beheaded.
